This is a guideline to what you should consider bringing along on your Cape to Kalahari Safari
Clothing for all weather conditions including:
• 2/3 shorts/skirts
• 1 light (fold- up) raincoat
• 1 Jacket
• Tracksuit/pullover
• 1 pair of long pants/jeans
• 1 pairs of walking shoes/boots/trainers
• 1 pair of sandals
• 4 or 5 T-shirts/short sleeve shirts or sundresses
• 1/2 Long Sleeve Shirts
• Swimwear
• Underwear & socks
• Sun Hat – preferably that covers the back of your neck.
Additional Items:
• Towel & facecloth
• Baby wipes/ Wet Wipes
• Personal toiletries
• Sleeping pillow (for the overnight bus trip and camping)
• Torch & spare batteries
• Camera & charger
• Water bottle. (A large soft drink bottle also works well...)
• Penknife
• Insect and Mosquito repellent
• Suntan lotion and body lotion
• Sunglasses
• Small basic First Aid kit (headache tablets, band aids, eye drops, etc.)
• Money (there are cash machines only on the first & last day)
• Plastic bag (for dirty clothing)
• If you wear glasses (or contacts) it is also advisable to bring a spare pair
